For the period July 2016 to September 2016, a total of 105 samples were submitted to the WRLFMD for FMDV detection and serotyping from Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mauritius and Nepal.
Testing was also completed on 49 samples from Botswana, Egypt, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe that were received in the April to June 2016 period.
